RULES & REWARDS

* Champion and Reserve Team awards.

* Battle of the Barns Team Champion – Team Leader receives 4’ Trophy, 25 bales of freshly cut Bermuda hay from Franklin Turf, 10 bags Purina Feed from Tidewater Supply.  Team Members receive individual awards as well.

* Battle of the Barns Team Reserve Champion – Team Leader receives a 3’ trophy with individual awards for team members.

* $25 team fee and sign-up form must be received by September 15th - absolutely no exceptions to this date.

* There must be 5 different horses and 5 different riders.  In case of illness and/or injury to rider or horse, changes in rider and/or horse can be made only PRIOR to the show start time.  However, if any change is not made with the secretary PRIOR to the show start time, regardless of reason, no points will be counted for a new rider/horse change.  Once the show starts, there can be no changes, additions or deletions of rider or horse.

* Riders can compete in any class for team points.  Check out our added classes for this show…including Barrel Racing, Speed Barrel, Open Pleasure, and Western Horsemanship. 1^st place 6pts, 2^nd place 5pts, 3^rd place 4pts, 4^th place 3pts, 5^th place 2pts, 6^th place 1pt. No Champion and Reserve points are included in the Battle of the Barns.  Therefore, the Halter Championship will not count for Battle of the Barns but WILL count for TFSS member points.

* All riders under 18 must wear fastened ASTM/SEI approved helmets when mounted.

* This competition is held in conjunction with our Thunderhorse Farm Show Series.  Team members DO NOT have to be TFSS members.  However, ALL TFSS members will receive their points for all approved TFSS classes (there will be some added classes to this show that are not TFSS point-recognized.)

* Barns can have more than one team.
